Touch 3 Skill Level Guide
Our training programs are organized by skill level to ensure every athlete receives age-appropriate coaching, meaningful challenges, and a clear pathway for continued development.

Beginner Level
Focus: Introduction to the sport, hand-eye coordination, and basic movement.

Experience: No prior experience required.

Age: 6 – 10
Intermediate Level
Focus: Skill building and ball control consistency.

Experience: Some volleyball experience; ability to consistently underhand pass to a specific target.

Age: 10+
Advanced 1
Focus: Refining all-around skill sets and transitioning to competitive play.

Requirements -1+ year of formal training in all skill sets (pass, set, hit, and serve).

Previous game experience with school or club teams.

Age: 12+
Advanced 2
Focus: Advanced technical execution and specialized role development.

Requirements: Several years of formal training in all skill sets.

Ability to consistently overhand serve from the end line.

Active or previous game experience with school or club teams.

Age: 13+
Advanced 3
Focus: Elite mastery, complex rotations, and high-level competition.

Requirements: Mastery of all fundamental skill sets over several years of high-level training.

Multiple seasons of school or club team experience.

Age: 8th Grade – High School
